I love my hometown

I love my home town. People who don’t understand the kind of feeling, that you feel when you’re in the place that you like the most, are outsiders. People who always think, that someone like me is ridiculous. Why should I come home every weekend? That’s because I miss my family, home town and everything that I left behind to get the prosper education. Those people would never understand. I would never care either. Then, please allow me to tell you about my great home town.

Solok is one of many beautiful places in West Sumatera. It is surrounded by mountains, mount Singgalang which is the highest mountain in West Sumatera, and mount Talang that has beautiful volcanic lake on the top of it. Solok is best known for its lakes. This city has four lakes Singkarak, Di atas and Di bawah lake (twins lake) and Talang volcanic lake. Each year, the government of West Sumatera holds a very famous international event in Singkarak lake, it is called “Tour De Singkarak”. It is a bicycle race which the racers are from around the world. It has been held twice and the result was quiet satisfying.

Don’t forget to try the authentic food of this city, Ikan Bilih which only can be found in Singkarak Lake. You can also find many great places to eat, the food is produced and served traditionally and it is not very expensive. “Well, I like this article a lot.
